Meet the Mark Strickland Team

Keller Williams Realty, Boston-Metro

Mark D. Strickland holds a Massachusetts Broker's License (# 9084427) and is also a Realtor® and an Accredited Buyer Representative®. Mark works diligently and thoroughly on behalf of people who are looking to buy or sell a home or investment property within the greater-Boston area (including Cambridge and Brookline). Mark also helps people moving out of the greater-Boston area by referring them to a pre-screened, reputable Keller Williams broker in the city to which they're relocating.

Originally from Connecticut, Mark graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Trinity College in Hartford, and then won a scholarship to get a Masters degree from the University of CT. Mark has lived and worked within the architectural and cultural splendor of greater-Boston for the past 15 years.

“Boston is my favorite city in the country...watch out: my enthusiasm might be contagious!” – Mark D. Strickland

As a former social worker and counselor, Mark brings a unique blend of empathetic listening skills, knowledge of current real estate market conditions, professionalism and integrity to each client he serves. Mark understands that stressful life changes often lead to a need to buy or sell a home. And, as a prior benefits consultant and national director of sales and account management working with Fortune 500 corporations, Mark has developed strong negotiating and customer service skills -- to be put judiciously to work on YOUR behalf.

Mark offers each new client a complimentary counseling session to explain the market nuances within each Boston neighborhood, clarify the concept of Buyer Agent versus Listing Agent and where a Realtor's fiduciary responsibilities lie in relation to a buyer versus listing client.

Finally, our team works with some of the best real estate attorneys, home /environmental inspectors and mortgage brokers in the area to ensure that your real-estate transaction goes smoothly from the initial Offer to Purchase negotiations right through the closing and beyond.

Treadway (“Tread”) P. Strickland, Realtor® is a licensed real estate sales person whose primary focus is that of a Buyer Agent. Tread has always been motivated to help people achieve their goals, and has channeled this energy into helping buyers find their “dream home”. In addition to working with clients within the greater-Boston, as a member of the Mark Strickland Team he helps people leaving the greater-Boston area by referring them to a pre-screened, reputable agent in the city to which they're relocating.

Tread graduated from the University of Mississippi with two Bachelors Degrees: one in Business Administration and the second in Journalism and Advertising. He was then awarded a graduate scholarship to study Radio and Television. He is therefore a very effective communicator; he is a “listener” who can understand your needs, and then translate them into actionable, achievable goals.

Tread has lived in - and is therefore very familiar with - Brookline and Charlestown real estate. He has also spent the past 20 years living in the South End. Tread offers each buyer a complimentary counseling session to explain the market nuances within each Boston neighborhood while clarifying the fiduciary responsibilities of a Buyer Agent.

The Mark Strickland Team gives clients (voluntary) access to some of the best real estate attorneys, home/environmental inspectors and mortgage brokers in the area to ensure that each client’s real-estate transaction goes smoothly from the initial Offer to Purchase negotiations, through the closing and beyond.
